I did my specialist registrar training in the Hull and East Yorkshire region. In 2009, I was fortunate to be offered a prestigious training fellowship at the Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston, USA. Whilst there I gained training in Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging, Cardiac CT and Cardiac PET scanning at Harvard Medical School. I was fortunate to be taught by some of the greatest minds in the field of Cardiology including Professor Eugene Braunwald.
